At JLL, we pride ourselves on a commitment to our clients, but also on a commitment to supporting and giving back to our local communities. That’s why our teams from across the globe are involved with non-profit organizations every year, volunteering time and raising donations.
In 2014, JLL team members spent more than 25,000 hours volunteering together and the company gave approximately $2.8 million in charitable contributions.
JLL was honored by Corporate Responsivity Magazine as one of the magazine’s 100 Best Corporate Citizens. This is JLL’s fourth year in a row to be recognized by CR Magazine. The company received its highest scores in philanthropy, climate change, and human rights.
- The DFW industrial team spent the afternoon at the North Texas Food Bank, distributing and packing groceries for families spanning 13 counties. The organization offers 170,000 meals every day for hungry children, seniors, and families.
- The Dallas office hosted a Suit Drive on behalf of CitySquare. Donated suits helped CitySquare prepare their unemployed and underemployed adults for jobs.
- JLL’s Dallas aided the Dallas-Fort Worth Salvation Army with its Angel Tree program, constructing over 2,500 donation packets. The annual program assists in providing donated gifts to 50,000 children during the holiday season.
“Many of our employees have strong personal ties to these different organizations,” says JLL South Central Region President Jeff Staubach. “We are proud to support each of our employees and their charitable activities.”
