High-tech firm NetScout broke ground Wednesday on their new regional research and development office in Allen, Texas. The 145,000-square-foot office project, being developed by Kaizen Development Partners, will house nearly 500 employees upon its completion.

JLL Managing Director Greg Biggs, Managing Director Brendan Callahan and Vice President Conor McCarthy negotiated the office lease on behalf of NetScout.

“It was a pleasure and an honor to play a role in securing NetScouts’s new corporate research and development office,” said Biggs. “The management team at NetScout truly cares about their employees and wanted to ensure that their team was provided a great working environment. This new complex allows NetScout the opportunity to develop that setting. This was a great collaborative effort by everyone involved.”

JLL Executive Vice President Daryl Mullin, and Senior Vice Presidents Chris Doggett and Blake Shipley represented Kaizen Development Partners in the transaction. Mullin, Doggett and Shipley are also leading the leasing and marketing efforts for the Kaizen spec building currently under construction, One Bethany East, which will deliver this January.

“We look forward to topping out ceremonies and ribbon cutting ceremonies,” said Derrick Evers, CEO and Managing Partner of Kaizen, during his remarks at the ground breaking event. “Welcome to Allen. We are excited to have you here.”

The building is expected to be completed by next summer.
