Crescent Real Estate and Long Wharf Capital broke ground on the newest addition to Dallas’ historic West End, The Luminary. The 162,710 square foot office property will be the tallest building in the West End upon its completion.
“Our hope is that The Luminary will serve as a catalyst for future development, just as The Crescent did 33 years ago, launching Uptown and it’s iconic anchor,” said John Zogg, Managing Director, Crescent Real Estate.
“We are thrilled to partner with Crescent Real Estate for this exciting opportunity,” said James Esquivel, Managing Director, JLL. “Their investment and strong partnerships within the West End community illustrates their commitment to the current and future tenants of the West End, The Luminary and the Innovation District.”
The Luminary has 81,711 square feet of contiguous office space available. Architecture firm Corgan, who designed the project, will expand its headquarters to The Luminary, leasing an additional 23,268 square feet of the property.
The Luminary is expected to open its doors in early 2019.
